The SCCA World Challenge Race was actually really good, thought the talent level and amount of cars on track were a lot better than what Rolex could do. Had 55 cars on the standing start, was some really good racing.
The K&N Pro Series Race was really fun to watch, they shortened the course this year onto a 2.2 mile course, so you could see the whole track. Andrew Ranger lead basically the first 20 laps, then things started heating up after Jack Sellers godly talented 3 car team caused about every caution of the race, pit stategy was out of whack, and Ranger ended up going 2 laps down because of a transmission issue, the cautions kept piling on, and they ended up using 2 GWC's, Eric Holmes and Greg Pursley were battling for the final 15 laps, but Eric Holmes ended up running out of fuel and Greg Pursley fought off Moses Smith in an entertaining race. Was really enjoyable aside from the fact Jack Sellers cars caused about every caution, and made the race go 13 laps longer than the schedule distance at a 2.2 mile road course (50 Lap Race).
Was a really fun day at the track, aside from it being 35 degrees at the track today, and I was freezing my ass off until the end of the World Challenge Race.
Pictures will be up tomorrow.
