PostSubject: Rolex at Daytona Race   Sun Jan 23, 2011 11:47 pm

Would anyone be interested in running a Rolex 24 Hour at Daytona type race? I mean not 24 hours, but maybe something like 1 Hour or 2. If we could get enough people I could host the event and have a couple people help out. Just let me know if y'all are interested. And it prolly be run a like 2 weeks from now.

I kinda would like to do this on rFactor. That way we could race actual DP's and stuff and have a track that goes from Day to Night and vise-versa. Anyone that doesnt have it can download it and you can host races with it. Would be much more realistic IMO.

Issue with that is, well is the fact of getting enough people for rfactor, we would need to look around for people for that. But in general a two hour race wouldn't be much of a problem for most of us, considering we opened the season for ROC with a 2 hour race. lol I'm interested though.

Why? I think quite a few people here already have it. And plus the ones that don't, it wouldn't be that hard to get (download trial and put cracked EXE in).

About half the people here have rfactor, the other half can't really run it/don't care for it. lol I'm not agaisnt the idea of it, It's just the fact of what I stated above. Doesn't really matter anyways, its up to Lambert Razz

I'd rather just stick with NR2003. It's so much easier.

1 or 2 hours at max. 4 hours is just too long for a race on a computer tbh and what mod would we use?

Yeah, it would only be 2 hours, 2 1/2 at max. And as for mods, I was thinking either PWF PTA or TPCTT mod.
