New Sponsor for Lambert Motorsports, Inc.



Voodoo Ride is coming aboard the LMI team after some sponsor issues with Monster Energy. Lambert said earlier today that he had not been happy with Monster and their funding for his team. Monster was the primary sponsor for Lambert's #53 Toyota Tundra at the beginning of the season, but that came to a close very shortly and right before the big Daytona race. Monster cut their funding for LMI to less then half and said they were only going to be able to sponsor him for 5 races this season. Lambert was pissed b/c that would him sponsorless for a good part of the season. So Lambert in a few words said screw you and completely drop Monster Energy as a whole. But, it didn't take long for Lambert to find a new primary sponsor. While Lambert was buying some car cleaning products, a Voodoo Ride sales associate was right next time him. Lambert picked up some Voodoo Ride products and headed for the cash register. And in that moment, the sales associate for Voodoo Ride noticed that it was Brandon Lambert and asked for his autograph. Lambert told him the story about Monster Energy, and the SA said they he would talk to his boss about maybe a part-time sponsorship. But low and behold, his boss is a big NASCAR fan and offered Lambert a full-time primary sponsorship that he couldn't turn down. Lambert said he was very happy and couldn't wait to get his new Voodoo Ride Toyota Tundra into victory lane.
